Suite Thirteen Hair Design embarks on a day of helping to cut out youth addiction by hosting a charity Cut-a-thon in support of the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre. Wanting to give back to the community, the owners and stylists at Suite Thirteen have set aside September 13th from 9am – 5pm to serve all of those that will walk through its doors. All proceeds from the day long Cut-a-thon and an on-site barbeque will be going to support Dave’s Dream and the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre. Minimum donation for a haircut is $10.00.

People of all ages are invited to sit in the chair of any one of the professionally-trained stylists who will be on hand to give you the look that best enhances your personality and meets your personal tastes. Be sure to enjoy the barbeque provided by Nate’s Deli before or after your cut and keep an eye out for Dave Smith as he may be the guy flipping your burger. There will also be great auction items available to bid on before or after getting your new look.

About The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre

The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre opened its doors over 20 years ago and in 2010 transformed into the only residential treatment facility in Eastern Ontario dedicated to helping Anglophone youth, ages 13-21, overcome substance abuse and mental health issues and other related challenges. These challenges kept them from achieving a healthier lifestyle, kept them from their hopes and dreams. The Centre has saved countless lives and given so many youth a second chance at life. Currently, the Centre has facilities on Bronson, in Carleton Place and in Carp, and is fundraising to build an all-new 30-bed facility on 25 acres in Carp.
